Marek Vrabel

Mgr. Art. Marek Vrabel born in 1973, he is a graduate of Conservatory in Kosice, main field organ and piano. Also graduated on the College of Musical Arts in Bratislava, main field organ. He works in Bratislava on the Ecclesiastic conservatory as a concert artist and a pedagogue of piano play.

He successfully participated many competitions and festivals – 1st place in competition of Slovak conservatory organists '90, certificate of merit in Competition of young organists – Opava '90, Internationaler Orgelwettbewerb Gelsenkirchen '96, Regard of young Slovak organists, Stage of the young, Festival of sacral arts in Kosice, Organ days in Trnava '97, International Festival “Musica nobilis” '97, Smetanova Litomysl '97, International Festival “Gresak's organ days” '99…

He concerted in Czech republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Italy. In 1997 realized records of his own organ songs for Gratex International on multimedial CD-ROM; with flautist Monika Streitova-Popelarova recorded CD contained several Slovak and worldwide openings. As a chamber player, he cooperates with many artists – Eva Blahová, Peter Michalica, Martin Babjak, Chin Chu Seen, Kobie van Rensburg… He cooperated with Slovak Philharmony, State Philharmony in Kosice and Slovak Broadcast.

He has been cooperating with Adoremus since 1998.
